The Brand New Hyundai I20 Active gets a float today

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) will launch the i20 Active (the crossover variant of the Elite i20) in New Delhi today. Choosing India as its premier market. Gradually the I20Active will go on sale in other international markets as well. HMIL confirms. The i20 Active competes with cars like the Fiat Avventur , VW Cross Polo and Toyota Etios Cross.

The Hyundai I20 Active will be available in both petrol and diesel variant. As the Indian market is eyeing on the crossover models, this car indeed will take the sweep. There are noticeable changes in the exterior as well as the interior. The rear profile of the car looks different too, with a new bumper with reflector  in a circle shape, big fog lamps, projector head lamps, with day running led, corner lights(is’nt it cool)…and much more!!!

However, the engine continues to be like its sibling with a 1.2 litre kappa2 petrol and 1.4 liter CRDI diesel . Mechanically ,for a taller ride, Hyundai has increased the height of the model to 20mm to give ground rise clearance of 190mm.”Now that’s not bad at all”

The suspension setup at the rear is the most action packed segment of the car. As there has been a lot of changes there. Fluid viscosity has been improved, the number of coils have gone up adding to the height with of course better spring load capacity.

Hyundai is offering its interiors in two dual tone shades-brown and orange and black and blue. Highlights like dual tone dashboard, new upholstery with orange or blue touch. Aluminum coated pedals, coloured gear knobs for that sporty look!!!
