Report-Tata motors History in the UK market

The Tata motor creates history in Britain, marked with the release of Jaguar’s latest model XE that is an entry level luxury saloon car. It has been presented at its Factory in West Midlands in England.  The factory in Solihull has always been the home of the sibling brand Land Rover but the Jaguar XE saloon has set the production facilities at this particular plant for the first time.

 

 

This new set estimated with an investment of 500 million pounds comprises of a new body shop and trimming and finalizing facilities. This kind of investment by the TATA group is considered to be the largest investment in this plant in the last 70 years. According to Jeremy Hicks, the Managing Director with Jaguar Land Rover UK, this new Jaguar product is expected to double the present UK sales for the machine of 18000 units.

 

According to him, people who buy such cars, are very loyal and its kind of a relationship they create with the products. It is to be believed that people who would drive the XE, would actually bring down their age down. The brand is eyeing on young professionals, who have backed upon German brands so far, as they had been out of choices so far.

 

This baby Jag, as its nick named because of its compact size, would be accompanied by the F-Pace that was revealed earlier this year the same plant from the next year onwards. TATA motors had adopted the Jaguar machine back in 2008, and since then it has indeed turned the tables around drastically in favor for the Brand.  It has been reported that the new Jaguar XE and the F-Pace would indeed elevate the annual output and sales by a good 50 percent, with estimated 360,000 units and yield manpower of approx. 10,500.

 

According to the Brand, along with each and every upgraded or a new launch, there has been a visible positive impact on the entire automotive industry, directly or indirectly. That is a kind of Good News for everyone in relation.
