During the Brand’s 10th Anniversary celebration, the machine was brought to India. The new machine was a LHD type shipped from Dubai, for a test analysis tour for the media and the market at the Buddh International Circuit. After being question on the launch of the model, the brand’s spoke person confirmed that there are no current plans for the date or any strategy as yet. But yes the model can be arranged only if the market demands for the same.
The Nissan latest variant is available only with 5.5-L V8 petrol as its main markets in Middle East, North America and Russia vouch for petrol dynamos. The estimate to craft a diesel engine is considered being too high considering the demand across the globe. This would make the SUV a very opening product in India where expensive SUVs with a diesel variant are sold three-digit volumes every year.
The Patrol measures 5.14 m lengthwise, 1.99 m width and 1.94 m height, with a wheel based of 3.07 m. It is fitted with features like fore, skirt and curtain airbags, cruise control, 8-way adjustable leather lounge and Bose sound system. About to be estimated at INR 1crore as reported, would be competing with the Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes GL class and the Porsche Cayenne.
