Mahindra to stop production for up to six days
Mahindra and Mahindra have announced at 11 July that it will stop production of automotive plant up to eight days during remaining month.
After slowdown auto sales market of M&M, Mahindra said it will stop production for six days durning the remaining month at its automotive plant for managing output demand of market.

In this period the management would be closely watch the market scenario and within production working days review to adjust production in line with the demand.
Mahindra yesterday announced his sales reported 21.17 % down in its total sales at 37,096 units in July 2013 as compared to 47,059 units in the July 2012.
After increases the excise duty on sports utility vehicles to 30 % from earlier 27 % in this year's budget has resulted in increased prices of M&M's bestselling models including XUV500, Xylo, Scorpio, and Bolero which has hurt its sales.
