Talking of the external elements of the Mahindra Thar 2015, this new version gets a transformed fore and back fenders, an all new wheel arch, fresh steps at the sides along with a fresh covering and head lamps equipped with a crystal clear lens. Mechanically, the Mahindra Thar 2015 acquires an auto engaging distinct lock for the axle at the back, while it arms on with the 2.5L diesel motor. However, there are no such alterations been done on the engine of the vehicle, while it endures to develop 105 bhp @ 3,800rpm along with 247Nm of force amidst 1800-2000 rpm, mated to a 5-speed manual gearing system along with high as well as low range ratios.
