Jaguar Plans 700hp Jaguar F-Type R-S

Meanwhile, it was known that Jaguar is planning to create more R-S GT variants with nameplate pinned to be as the Jaguar F-Type. According to new information of the upcoming supercar, the new Jaguar F-Type R-S could produce power over 700hp and consequently can have speeds of more than 200mph.

One of the workers with company told that, they have done R-S version with over 700bhp that will do over 200mph. The upcoming Jaguar F-Type R-S will feature a French Racing Blue paint scheme.
The offering of Jaguar F-Type R-S is yet not clear. It may be only as a hardcore variant for Jaguar F-Type Coupe or it may also be available for the regular Jaguar F-Type convertible. This supercar variant cannot be expected any time before 2016.

The F-Type R-S will borrow some engine technology from the 900ph Jaguar C-X75 hybrid supercar to achieve the additional 200+hp over standard Jaguar F-Type V8 S. Jaguar revealed, that some of its technologies of C- X75 would be used into future Jaguar models, so C-X75 is cancelled. If such reports turn out to be true then, supercharged 1.6-liter engine could be replaced by 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with multiple electric motors to generate 700hp.
