The model was primarily introduced in India in July 2014,it incorporated interior and exterior changes and a new 1.5L diesel engine.
India made VW Polo has got a cosmetic change, that is made and up for sale in India. It is reported to be presented in Malaysia in the middle of this year. The model has been revealed to the journalists, during the Pekan plant visit last week. The new changed VW POLO stalls tall on locally assembled tires (good year).
The Pekan plant is going to assemble the machine with the CKD packs that are sourced from Chakan, Maharashtra. The model was primarily introduced in India in July 2014,it incorporated interior and exterior changes and a new 1.5L diesel engine.
Malaysia is a petrol preferred country, so would not witness a lot of cosmetic changes. It would continue to get a 1.6L –four cylinder petrol engine pulling out 105PS and 153NM force. The model would be teamed up with a six speed automatic with triptonic.
The two changes, which Malaysia would not observe are the two-eye headlights and the TOSA alloy wheels. The dashboard of the car would observe changes that were presented last year itself on the India-bound model.
The other improvements are taken forward, like new lower fender, along with fog lamps situated at the top. A chrome line, a changed tail light, a new steering wheel with a flat lower stack, a changed instrumental panel and a different fabric for the seats.
