Honda Motors to launch new CR-V on Feb 12
Honda Motors is ready to launch 4th generation CR-V SUV with some upgradation on February 12.
Honda’s nex-gen CRV is based on an all-new platform and comes with a perfect mix of both quirky yet modern details. This new car is little shorter than previous variant, but carries some clever interior packaging, it offers more spacious cabin with more storage spaces.
Similarly to current generation CR-V, two engine options including a 2.0-litre petrol and a 185bhp 2.4-litre petrol will be on offer. These engines are coupled to a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic gearbox. Both engines have been improved for better mileage and performance. Smaller motor of this vehicle will be offered with a six-speed manual and a five-speed automatic. The 2.4-litre motor will only be offered as an auto and will come with Honda's on-demand four-wheel drive system.
Drivers of the 2.4-litre will also get the convenience of paddle shifters for a more comfortable and balance drive. The top-end AVN variant of the CR-V also comprises an electric sunroof and a 6.1-inch multimedia information display to control multimedia features and navigation system. Rear view camera for parking convenience will be very handy and is standard across the range. Upgraded CR-V also carries a button-activated Econ-mode for a more fuel efficient drive. Leather-covered seats, steering-mounted audio control, cruise control and one touch folding rear seats are standard across the range.
Honda automotive will also provide two styling packages for new Honda CRV India. Besides chrome garnishes and scuff plates for the door sills, the Inspire package also sports a tailgate spoiler and sculpted running boards. On the other hand, elegance package offers a healthier smattering of chrome, but does without the spoiler and the running board. What makes it distinctive is its honeycomb grille.
