Report: Honda invest a huge amount in all new plant

Honda Care plans to invest INR 380 Cr. In their Tapukara plant. As reported by Express News services, Honda cares have given a statement to invest INR 380 Cr. In its Tapukara production unit in Rajasthan. After pooling in the amount, the brand would be able to pull out up to 1.80 lakh units per annum by 2016. At present the brand is able to produce 1.20 lakh units in a year. Once the plants sets in, there would be a 600 employees hired for the jobs in the plants.

 

Honda, being the fourth largest passenger car manufacturing company in India. They have two major plants set up in the country in order to meet the needs of the market; the first has been set up in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh that manages to produce around 1.20 units in a year. The Tapukara unit would be the new one on action, producing around 3 lakh units annually, as compare to the 2.40 units at present.

Mobilio MPV, Brio hatchback and the premium SUV, CR-V. The company’s new big launch will come in form of the new Jazz which would premiere with a diesel engine in India. The premium hatchback will take on the likes of the Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo etc., in India.
