Ford has a line up three launches in India

While the ford Figo is just around the cornet, ready for its launch in the coming following month, the company is aiming high at the compact sedan segmnet, by playing around its new Ford Figo Aspire, where in the market is currently grabbed by the leading models from Maruti, Honda, Hyundai and aTata motors. Ford the car manufacturer from America, has quite a plan for the market in India, it intends to roll out a line up of three variants also comprising a sub 4 meter Sedan, during the forthcoming 9 mobths time frame. They hope to clutch on a significant position in the market, post to their latest inventions.

 

Also the brand is looking forward to enlarge its netwrok in the country, by tossing in another 100 additional outlets, focussing mopre on the 3 tier cities, to be all set and done by the end of this following year.While considering the kind of investment the brand will have to do, there was no amount quoted by Harris, although its assumed that the investment would definitely be around atleast USD 1 Billion that the company has planned to be invested in the Sanand plant. Speaking of the sales network expansion, Harris reported that the brand as present has nearly 341 outlets throughout the country and by the end of the following year theyahve a chart to add 100 more dealerships, especially in the tier-III towns.
