Scorpio are out with a 5-speed manual transmission. However the new version of the machine is expected to be come with a six speed panel, that could be gifted by the part maker AISIN. The Top end model of the S10 would get the AT option. It is expected by the brand to put up the price by INR 1 lakh above the manual version.
According to reported, a look of the New Scorpio automatic by Mahindra has been shot. After the launch of the next generation Scorpio last year, the dedicated Brand is ready with its brand new automatic version of the product yet again. As per a reports by MOTOROCTANE, The Scorpio AT should be presented by the mid of the next month.
Currently all the models of the Scorpio are out with a 5-speed manual transmission. However the new version of the machine is expected to be come with a six speed panel, that could be gifted by the part maker AISIN. The Top end model of the S10 would get the AT option. Currently, The Scorpio runs on a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that rolls out 120 bhp and 280 Nm of Force. A 5-speed manual transmission comes standard with the new Scorpio that went out in 2014.
Once the Scorpio AT would be released on the road, it would definitely make news as it would be the only machine in its segment with an automatic transmission, giving a tiff to its rivals like Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano running on a manual transmission only.
The Brand is also getting equipped to launch the XUV500 with an AT Technology. Prime step machines like the Quanto and the U301 could also get automated manual transmission.
