Bentley SUV will unveil in 2016

Bentley motors confirmed the production of SUV. It will be the brand’s first SUV, expecting to be on sale in 2016. Company said that the vehicle will show itself as the most powerful SUV in market. Its production will be done at its factory in Crewe, England. The vehicle will be the world’s most costly SUV. It may have starting price of about 180,000 euros ($237,000). Though, Volkswagen Group subsidiary, Bentley, didn’t reveal any technical details.

The spokesman said that there will be substantial changes in vehicle as compared to the revealed design, having ‘EXP 9 F’ concept at Geneva. The SUV will let the company to go beyond exclusive sedans and will lead the brand into the growing market. The company has planned to invest more than 800 million pounds ($1.23 billion) for next three years on development of the SUV and other models. Also this plan will lead more than 1000 jobs at Bentley’s Crew Plant.

Martin Winterkorn, Volkswagen group boss said, “We see UK as economical location for industrial fabrication. The brand’s first SUV is being awaited by Bentley’s fans. All of us will make it a true Bentley-exclusive, powerful and successful”.
