Now, here we are with the much awaited segment breakup all you car fanatics were waiting for. To start with it would not be incorrect to quote about the cars we would be talking about, the all new revamped Honda Jazz and the Hyundai i20. While a comparison is mostly biased, but here we are giving you figures and facts, and we would like to leave the decision over to our readers, to make their pick. Both of the cars sport looks that are pleasant and abundant, and a look gives an airy visual treat, making the cars look quite spacious.
While space is always considered good Honda Jazz and they look the best when offered in a compact size. The best part about both the cars is that they have indeed provided an edge to the market, wherein they have given those ample good looks to the market. Whereas the iconic style and the layout have provided that much needed killer looks that the market is always looking for. To make a pick out of the two, can be quite opinionated. I personally feel, colors add a lot of magic on the roads, break the monotony, standing on the jam packed roads, but I would say the i20 looks a little more edgy.
However, at the same time, when the Hyundai i20 scores well on the style front, a look at Jazz also would provide a very contemporary layout, that looks simply smart. The inshore as well, for both the cars looks quite ample. Although Jazz comes fresh, still i20 holds an AC vent at the back that is indeed a much required element adding weight to the car. While Honda Jazz comes fresh in the market, it has been equipped with hand-picked components to make it stand at par in its competition. Namely the kind of space, the passengers seats at the rear would get, indeed is quite commendable. The storage space, leg room, all sum up at branding the car’s inmost cabin to be quiet roomy and big enough.
There is a lot of thought been put up, while providing storage options like bottle and cup holders in the car, might sound too inept, but indeed are usually extremely necessary in the cabin. Honda Jazz has also offered the auto climate controllers in the car, this may sound too clumsy, but integral while driving the car and getting distracted by adjusting the AC.
While both the contestants are fixed with a Bluetooth connectivity option along with climate control in their top end variants, the Hyundai i20 sports a start n stop toggle, that is absent in the Jazz, being a note worthy point. And last but certainly not the least, while talking about the prices, its interesting to see that both the cars are priced parallel to each other, at the same time Honda steals the game here by receiving a CVT option.
Now, who wins?
Well, indeed Honda Jazz being a fresh and new game in the market has its share of innovation and uniqueness, attracting buyers looking for new things in life. I do see the future of the Jazz really bright this time around and hope to see a lot of Jazz cars spreading its charm on the roads. This segment, where in these two cars are facing each other, in indeed the future of market in our country.
Such a size and price of a car, that provides all of the essential elements, a buyer could think of, talking about aspects like space, accessories, fancies, performance, road presence, attractive package, colors, balance and what not….. Definitely.
It would not be incorrect to say that the competition is quite close amongst these cars. Bothe these cars have a right future in the coming days. But the car that stole my heart away is definitely the Hyundai i20, yes the ocean blue one, or may I feel like a white at times. It still holds a better picture according to me, as the drive is indeed better than the Hyundai Jazz. It rules the roads, well almost, dictates it’s on road presence. The i20 is really well laid out; it’s built, casing…really nothing at par to this one. Although I’m equally infatuated by the Honda Jazz, but still my love for i20 remains pure.
However it’s just my assessment and my inclination towards one product is a little more than the other, but for the future of the market in India, I definitely see both the cars ruling, without any uncertainties.
