All New Honda Civic 2016 revealed

This year, we would get a glimpse of the 10th Generation product by Civic; the brand is dedicated in to the making of the machine currently. Honda displayed the new design in a bright green Honda Civic Concept. The first patent car sketch floated online, today itself. It is basically carved on the concept Model. The next monotony would be based on a shortened variant of the current Accord’s platform, and would be a little longer than the current model, say reports.

 

It would sport a new “Flying H” grille design crafted by optional LED headlamps and an updated lower fore layout. The rear-end would grasp a new designed set of tail-lamps, quite similar to the ones in the Civic Concept. The upcoming Civic would incorporate an engine sequence that includes a new 1.5-L “Earth Dreams VTEC Turbo” engine with direct injection. It would be teamed to a short-shifting 6-speed manual transmission or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). A few of the expected features include Lane Departure Warning, Multi-Angle rear view camera and Adaptive cruise control.

 

 

As per reports, the North American market would be the first to receive the new Civic later this year, followed by Asian markets in 2016. It would be equipped in various body styles: sedan, coupe and 5-door hatchback, as well as sporty variants such as the Si and Type-R. Honda Cars India stopped the Civic after the eighth generation due to the absence of diesel tech for the car and a shrinking D-Segment pie for sedans. There is no clue from the company if the Civic will be re-introduced with the tenth generation.
