2015 VW Vento Sports Facelift

The all new Volkswagen spied with a make-over with a lot of new features, detailed report. Motor octane reader Kanika Sood has right on dotted on a test car of the 2015 VW Vento (facelift) sporting the new LED tail light’s glow layout. Under the knife since 2010, the Volkswagen sedan is awaited its cosmetic renewal and is expected to get it during Diwali this year.

 

This test model is likely to be an export spec car, where the Vento is termed as ‘Polo sedan’. Volkswagen produces the sedan in Chakan, Maharastra, and also exports it to Asia, Africa and Latin America under other names, accommodating the same looks. We have already displayed earlier the spy shots of the face lifted Russian-spec Polo sedan with a three-rack grille and fog lamp pen. It is to be noted that the Indian-spec Vento facelift has not been seen with the similar updates, but it will get a new chrome grille, definite folds on the hood, a new front fender, and a new circular hind fender with a cut-out for the exhaust pipe. New alloy wheel designed and seat texture is also foreseen.

 

There is no report suggesting a mechanical change. It would again be powered by a 1.6-L petrol, the 1.2-L turbo petrol and the 1.5-L diesel engines. The 1.2 TSI comes paired with a 7-speed DSG auto-gearbox, which is now also available in the 1.5-L diesel variants. The 1.6-L petrol comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Brand, earlier this march 2015, launched the special Edition VW Vento Magnific empowered by a new infotainment system and an Android tablet.
