There are rumour mills running in the domestic market of Indian about the team Honda engaged with an inline-four cylinder 250cc motorbike. As per the reports, this new quarter-litre bike would be labelledas Honda CBR250RR. Honda has dubbed this bike as K64A and may acquire a V-Twin unit for it. The Japanese maker has used the inline-four quarter litre motorbike till the year 1996, though, it cloggedthe production of the same due to the emission norms. With this new bike, Honda intends to make its mark in the market and attract the potential customers who intend to look for an inline-four engine outline in a 250cc bike.
According to the reports, this new unit would be able to churn out nearly 37bhp along with a peak torque of 24Nm. This unit would be paired to a six-speed transmission that woulddirect the power to the rear wheel over a chain drive. While the beautification is concerned, the bike is projected to appear identical to the CBR300R however expects a few tweaks here and there. The Honda CBR250RR is also estimated to acquire premium elements like USD front forks. It is also thought of being clad with an ABS being standard. The Indian launch of the car is slightly dicey, we assume the brand to roll over the CBR250RR in markets where the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and YZF-R3 have resilienttrades. The Honda CBR250RR may be revealed at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show 2015.
