Hero MotoCorp will start soon the fourth plant at Neemrana
Neemrana plant will manufacture mostly scooters, like the most demanded Maestro that fully strengthens to the overall volumes of the company, The new plant will also produce few models of motorcycles, might be going to start production with an initial capacity of 750,000 units per annum.
Hero Motocorp India largest two wheeler company has planned to start its fourth plant at Neemrana in Rajasthan within few weeks. Even many automotive companies reduce their production due to slow demand in domestic market.
Probably company would also start working on its fifth plant at Halol in Gujarat soon, it is anticipated that by the financial year 2017-18 the total annual installed capacity of hero would reach around 10 million units.

Hero has invested total of Rs 550 crore for setting up the new plant, along with the state-of-the-art Global Parts Centre (GPC) at Neemrana. This new plant will also bring direct employment opportunities for over 1000 people. Meanwhile Hero planning to start construction of its fifth plant at Halol in Gujarat very soon, company has decided to invest upto Rs 1100 crores.It is anticipated that this plant will be live by the financial year 2015-16 with an annual capacity of 1.8 million units of two wheelers," the source said.
Hero has a total installed capacity of 7 million units among its three manufacturing plants ar Gurgaon and Dharuhera in Haryana and Haridwar in Uttrakhand. And this will reach over 9 million units once two more plants will start.
