Hero MotoCorp has suspended the Xtreme at the moment for the domestic market of our country. The initiative is taken owing to the fame its revamped version called the Xtreme Sports is attracting, while most of the customers in the market opt for the upgraded version. While the report has been confirmed over the web, and to support the fact, there have been dealers who have stopped accepting bookings for the Hero Xtreme already, wherein the Hero Xtreme Sports has been doing pretty well in the domestic market of the country. Hero Xtreme was floating in the market carrying a price tag of INR 75,025, being the ex-showroom price in the capital, while the upgraded Xtreme Sports was estimated at INR 75,725 again the ex-showroom cost in New Delhi). Now hardly carrying price difference of merely INR 700, the Xtreme Sports offers a better worth along with advanced specifications that is evidently making the later one a better and sensible option to purchase.
Going by the similar thoughts, the Indian buyers were gradually choosing the latest Sports version of the bike, making the sales of the primary model quite sluggish. However the bike still continues to be listed at the company’s official website. But we believe soon, the brand would pull it out, probably once the stock gets over. The Xtreme was available for sale during the previous 27 months, though it became unsuccessful in order to attract the market that is very competitive at the moment, with the latest and competitive options out in the market, making place for just the most elaborative products to survive. Basically the Hero Xtreme Sport also doesn’t excite at that much, but it is one of the best options to deal with the bumpy and crazy at times, Indian roads.
