Ducati to be launched in India May 2015
The Ducati Private Limited the Italian bike maker has announced to launch the New Scrambler next month. The machine is expected to be priced at INR 6.5-7.5 lakhs, ex showroom. The machine is expected to ride on the street in the month of May 2015.
According to sources, the Ducati Private Limited the Italian bike maker has announced to launch the New Scrambler next month. The Scrambler was revealed at the global debut at the Intermot 2014, in Germany, last September. The Brand suggests that its retro style would appeal the mass. The classic layout of the bike sports a chic circle shaped head light with a LED outline, a solo side rear bumper, there is an instrumental dial at the center and a soaring seat.
The Bike stand on a twin-spar steel frame and gets Kayaba upturned telescopic forks up front and an offset monoshock for the rear. The motor Bike gets its power from the 803cc L-twin bike that pulls out 75PS and 67.7Nm of Force, and it’s paired with a 6-speed transmission through a slipper clutch. The Brand claims a weight of 170Kg. Stopping power comes from a 330mm Disc at the fore and a 245mm disc at the rear with a twin ABS, with Pirelli tyres. Ducati makes the Scrambler at the Thailand plant for a global export markets. The machine is expected to be priced at INR 6.5-7.5 lakhs, ex showroom.
