Report-Bajaj Pulsar Rs200,1000 booking in the first week

Although the Bajaj Motors has been eyeing on this particular machine, it has been able to manage, 1000 bookings in the first week of its launch. Now the company aspired to sell 2,500 units each month. As the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 reports to be the fastest Pulsars on road yet, has been launched at INR 1.18 lakhs (non-ABS version), and another variant for INR 1.3 lakhs (ABS version), ex-showroom estimate in the Capital.

 

Inspired by the Pulsar 200 NS, the RS200 gets its power by a fuel-injected variant of the 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. On the RS200, this dynamo produces 24.5 PS at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of force at 8,000 rpm and is paired to a 6-speed transmission. Bajaj motors claims a top-speed of 141 km/h.

 

As per the reports, Bajaj Auto declared a sales drop of 22 percent in March 2015, intends sales of 2,500 Pulsar RS200s each month. While the RS200’s sports-motorcycles segment contributes for only 1 percent of total industry sales, Bajaj owns a 43 percent market share in this segment with the Pulsar brand.

 

To add on, Bajaj has revealed the launch of the ‘new Pulsar range’ on April 14. While it is yet to be confirmed if it will launch multiple motorcycles on this day, the Pulsar 200AS – an adventure variant of the 200 NS – is expected to have its reveal then.
