Bajaj intends to sell 2500 units of the new RS200 in a month

Bajaj Auto is intending to make 2500 units up on sale in a month, for its new born baby the Bajaj Pulsar Rs200. The race sport model has been launched in the country yesterday, estimated at INR 1.18lakhs for the basic and INR 1.3lakhs for the ABS variant, ex showroom, New Delhi. The Brand has expectations from both the versions on equal.
The Rs200 incorporates a fuel injected engine, pulling out 24.5PS. Talking about the figures, the RS200, reports for just one percent of the total sales of the Brand, although the Brand Pulsar comprises of 43 percent of its share in the market. Claimed as the fastest Pulsar yet, the RS200 has a reported top-speed of 141 km/h. The machine also has boasting rights for being the first Pulsar to offer an ABS system, a Bosch-made solo-channel unit. Powered by a 199.5 cc single-cylinder engine pulling out 24.5 PS at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of force at 8,000 rpm, teamed up with a 6-speed transmission. At 1,999 mm long, 765 mm in wide, 1,114 mm in tall and 1,355 mm at the wheel barrow, the RS200 weighs 165 kg. Built on a solid and tuff frame, the RS200 consists of a 300 mm disc up front (largest in the segment) and a 230 mm disc at the back. Other features on the bike include twin-projector headlamps, LED taillights, a race exhaust system and a partially digital instrument panel.
